Get answers to common questions about RF Microneedling - Full Face & Neck.

A typical RF microneedling session for full face and neck takes about 60 to 90 minutes, including consultation, cleansing, topical numbing, treatment, and post-care. Actual procedure time is usually 30–45 minutes depending on skin needs.

Most clients report mild to moderate discomfort rather than pain. We apply topical numbing before the procedure and adjust settings for comfort. You may feel heat and pressure, but sensations subside quickly after treatment.

We generally recommend a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal collagen remodeling. Some clients benefit from additional sessions or maintenance treatments annually based on aging and skin goals.

Downtime is minimal: expect redness, mild swelling, and light flaking for 2 to 5 days. Most people return to work within a day or two. Avoid direct sun and follow aftercare to ensure proper healing.

You may notice immediate subtle tightening, but collagen remodeling continues over time. Visible improvements typically appear within 4 to 8 weeks and continue to improve for up to 3 to 6 months following a treatment series.

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, and mild bruising. Rare risks are infection, prolonged sensitivity, or scarring. Contraindications include active infection, certain medical conditions, or pregnancy—consult our provider for suitability.
